本课为冀教版《小学英语(三年级起点)》第三单元第三课,是一节故事课。教材中结合小主人公Jenny、 Li Ming堆雪人的故事,介绍了表示身体部位的单词及描述做事顺序的词汇,以及短语have… for…, make… for…
学生分析:
经过许多的英语学习,六年级学生已经掌握了一些表示身体部位的词汇,而且能够灵活运用。作为北方的孩子,他们有着堆雪人的经验。这些都为本课的教学做好了铺垫。
教学目标:
1.语言知识:
1) 能够听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:nose, mouth, body, head, ear, arm, leg, eye.
2)能认读、理解并运用下列句子:We make a small snowball for his head. Can you put this snowball on that snowball?
3)能运用first,next,then, finally等副词按照一定的逻辑顺序复述堆雪人的过程,并能发挥想象描述自己如何堆雪人。
2.语言技能:
1) 会用first,next,then, finally等副词按步骤表述如何堆雪人。
2) 能够运用描述身体部位词汇及句型have… for…, make… for… 等描述堆雪人的过程。
3.情感态度:
热爱大自然、热爱生活的情感,通过课文的学习激发丰富的想象力、创造力。

1) 养成听录音和跟读句子的习惯。
2)能主动积极与同学合作,共同完成任务。

教学过程:
Step 1 Greetings and warming-up.
1. Greeting: Hello, boys and girls! Nice to see you. How’s the weather today? What season is it now?
设计意图】运用轻松的谈话法,就真实情况与学生进行交流。关于冬天的话题把学生们带入冬天的情境中,并接触此节课用到的知识,学生在轻松的气氛中开始这节课的学习。
Step 2 Learning the text.
I. Pre-reading
1. The teacher asks what the students like to do in winter.
设计意图】在谈话中引出主题,为接下来的深入学习做好铺垫。
II. While-reading
1. The students watch and listen, then number the four pictures. answer two questions: How many snowballs do they make? Does the snowman have any legs or feet?
设计意图】借助flash课件,学生在音图并茂中初步接触课文。通过两个问题引导学生理解课文大意。此环节学生会感觉较容易,能够较轻松地进入课文的学习。
2. The students read silently and carefully, then underline the words of the parts of the snowman’s body.
设计意图】身体部位单词是本课的学习重点,但不是难点。学生在阅读中找出关键词,符合学生在情境中学习语言的认知规律。
3. The students circle the key words of the materials. The teacher fills them in the blanks. The students learn to say “make… for…, have… for…”
设计意图】此环节涉及到用什么来做雪人的问题。学生通过阅读加深对文章的理解。Stone, sticks二词学生第一次接触,字母st在单词中的发音问题做一简单归纳。
4. The students talk about what they use to make their own snowmen.
设计意图】学生在阅读中挖掘做雪人的材料时,学习使用了“make… for…, have… for…”的短语。教师追问你会用什么来做雪人的嘴、胳膊等,激发学生想象力,为提升学生综合语音运用能力做好铺垫。
5. The students read silently. Then the teacher shows the pictures of making a snowman, the students order the pictures.
设计意图】学生初步了解如何堆雪人。
6. The teacher shows pictures, the students learn to say: First, We make a … for his … Then… We have … for his … The teacher asks some other questions: What do you have for a snowman’s mouth when you make a snowman…
设计意图】学生在教师的帮助下运用first,then,next,finally等副词逐图描述堆雪人的过程,学生清晰地了解整个过程并学会运用这些副词。
III. Post-reading
1. The teacher retells the text first. Then the students retell the text with the pictures in their groups.
设计意图】前面学生已经对故事前后的逻辑关系、事件的顺序等做出了必要的思考,此阶段学生经过内化可以对故事内容做简单输出。这一环节促进了学生语言能力的提升。小组内可每人一幅图进行复述,以降低难度。
2. Finally, they listen to a song of winter in this lesson and learn to sing it.
设计意图】此歌曲是本课的学习内容之一,提升了课堂气氛。学生在轻松愉快的气氛中结束本节课的学习。

2. Look and number in page 43, try to make a sock snowman.
